Crypto casino bonuses: wagering requirements and small print
A big bonus can be worth less than a small one. These are the figures to read, with a worked example so you can calculate it in soles.
Bonuses are the hook of any crypto casino, and in Peru they are searched for as much as the casinos themselves. But a bonus is not free money: it is balance with conditions. The five figures of a bonus
- Percentage. 150% means that for every 100 USDT deposited you get 150 USDT in bonus.
- Maximum. The bonus cap, for example 1.5 BTC.
- Wagering requirement. How many times you must bet the bonus before withdrawing it.
- Maximum bet. The most you can stake per spin or hand while the bonus is active.
- Time limit. How many days you have to complete wagering.
On top of that comes game contribution: slots usually count 100%, while live roulette or blackjack count little or nothing.
A worked example
You deposit 100 USDT (about S/ 380, depending on the exchange rate) and accept a 150% bonus with 40x wagering on the bonus:
- Bonus: 150 USDT.
- Requirement: 150 × 40 = 6,000 USDT wagered.
- If you play slots with a theoretical return of 96%, the expected loss on 6,000 USDT wagered is about 240 USDT.
In other words, on average the requirement eats more than the bonus. That does not mean nobody wins: it means the bonus buys more playing time, not guaranteed money. With 10x wagering, the same calculation gives 1,500 USDT wagered and an expected loss of about 60 USDT: there the bonus does have value.
The Vave bonus

Bonus types you will see
- Welcome deposit bonus. The most common; often split across several deposits.
- Free spins. Winnings almost always carry their own wagering.
- Reload. A smaller percentage on later deposits.
- Cashback. Returns part of your losses; sometimes with no wagering, which makes it more useful.
- Rakeback and VIP. Returns on what you wager, depending on your level.
- No deposit. Rare, and with very low withdrawal caps.
When it is better to play without a bonus
- When you want to withdraw soon.
- When you play live games or sports bets that do not count towards wagering.
- When you cannot find the wagering requirement in writing.
- When your usual stake is above the bonus maximum bet.
The bonus box often comes ticked in the cashier. Untick it if you do not want the bonus.
Mistakes that void a bonus
- Going over the maximum bet even once.
- Playing excluded games with the bonus active.
- Opening more than one account to claim the bonus twice.
- Withdrawing before completing wagering without checking whether that cancels the winnings.
