How we score

Our method: the five checks behind each score

The score does not measure bonuses or game counts. It measures whether a casino puts in writing when it will verify you, and whether its licence exists where it says it does.

Every casino in the crypto casino Peru ranking gets 0 to 5 points. Each point answers a question you can check yourself by reading its terms or the licence register.

The five checks

1. Is there an identity verification clause? A point if the terms describe that the casino may verify the player's identity. Without a clause, you do not know which rules may apply when you withdraw.

2. Does it say when verification starts? A point if the clause sets a moment: at sign-up, at withdrawal, before playing with a certain coin or above an amount. “Whenever the casino deems it necessary” does not count.

3. Is it tied to an amount? A point if there is a specific figure, such as “from USD 2,500”. It is the information that helps most with planning.

4. Does it set a deadline for documents? A point if it says how many days you have to send documents or how long the review takes. Without a deadline, a withdrawal can stay open with no date.

5. Does the licence appear in the issuer's register? A point if the published number exists on the authority's portal, is current and matches the same domain or the same company named in the terms.

Curaçao Gaming Authority operating certificate for bitcasino.io, licence OGL/2023/111/0069, status active
The public Curaçao Gaming Authority certificate names the bitcasino.io domain, which is why it earns the register licence point.

Examples from the ranking

  • Bitcasino.io (4/5): clause, moment and amount (€2,500); licence in the register with its domain; no published deadline.
  • Rocketpot (4/5): clause, moment, amount (USD 2,500) and deadline; the licence number in its terms does not show as valid.
  • Wild Fortune (4/5): clause, moment (before playing with BTC), deadline and licence in the register; no amount.
  • Wolfbet (1/5): it has a clause, but no moment, amount, deadline or confirmed licence.
  • TrustDice (0/5): in what we read there is no clause and no published licence.

Where the data comes from

  • The terms and conditions of each operator, in their published version.
  • Licence registers of the issuing authorities, such as the Curaçao Gaming Authority or Anjouan.
  • Casino cashiers for coins and networks.
  • Our own money in two cases: Vave (deposit, play and a withdrawal paid with no document request) and TrustDice (sign-up and deposit).
A tocapu: woven squares like those on Inca tunics.

What we do not score

  • Bonus size or number of spins.
  • Number of games or providers.
  • Design of the site or app.
  • Promised payout speed. We publish no payout times.
  • Affiliate commissions. Vave, our partner, has no score so as not to change the order.

Brands without a score

Below the ranking are 18 brands named without a score, among them heavily searched names such as Stake or Roobet. For some we publish what we were able to check; once we read their terms against the five checks, they will move into the table.

Updates

We reread terms and registers every month. If a casino changes a clause, loses a licence or renews the one it had, the score changes at the next review. Who makes the site and how it is funded is in about us; short answers are in the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you not score the bonus?
Because it changes every month and its value depends on the wagering requirement. Verification rules and the licence decide what happens when you ask for your money.
Does a casino with 1 out of 5 not pay?
Not necessarily. It means its written rules leave more things undefined, so you rely more on the brand and less on documents.
