No KYC crypto casino: what the terms really say
Signing up with just an email is common at crypto casinos. Withdrawing without ever showing a document is another story, and it is written in the small print.
“No KYC” is one of the most repeated promises at crypto casinos, and one of the most misunderstood. KYC stands for “know your customer”: identity verification. In practice, almost every casino in our crypto casino Peru ranking lets you sign up with an email, but reserves the right to ask for documents later. The useful question is not “does it ask for KYC?” but “when, and from what amount?”.
Three levels of “no KYC”
- Sign-up without documents. You register with an email and password, deposit and play. This is the most common.
- Small withdrawals without documents. The casino sets an amount below which it normally does not verify.
- Never any documents. Very rare in writing. There is almost always a clause allowing verification “when necessary”.
What each casino publishes
| Casino | When it can verify |
|---|---|
| Bitcasino.io | from €2,500 (clauses 3.13 and 6.6) |
| Rocketpot | from USD 2,500 or 0.05 BTC, with a deadline for documents |
| Wild Fortune | before playing with BTC (clauses 2.7 and 11.2) |
| Metaspins | moment and deadline defined, no amount (clause 9.7) |
| Rainbet | moment and deadline defined, no amount (clause 20.1) |
| Shuffle | clause 5.2, no amount or deadline |
| Vave | before paying, 14 days to send documents (clause 8.7) |
The more specific the rule, the better you can plan. A written amount tells you how far you can play without preparing paperwork; an open clause tells you any withdrawal can be held up.
Our real case: Vave
At Vave we deposited our own money, played and withdrew the balance. The casino asked for no documents. It is a real data point, but from a single account: clause 8.7 allows it to verify before any payment. Not being asked once does not guarantee you will not be asked next time. Details in the Vave review.
How to prepare even if the casino says “no KYC”
- Have ready a clear photo of both sides of your DNI and an electricity, water or bank statement less than three months old.
- Use your real details when signing up. If the account name does not match the DNI, verification fails.
- Do not open several accounts at the same casino: almost all terms forbid it and can close all of them.
- Do not hide your location. Many terms, such as Stake's clause 14.4, treat location masking as a breach.
- Verify before a large withdrawal, not after.
Why casinos verify
Licensed operators have to check their players' age, prevent duplicate accounts and review unusual money movements. A casino that never verifies anyone is usually a casino you cannot verify either: no licence in a register, no identifiable company, no written rules. That is why our score does not reward the absence of KYC, but the clarity of the rule.
Privacy without hiding
If privacy matters to you, there are legitimate ways to protect it:
- Keep your bank apart from the casino by paying on P2P, as we explain in buying crypto in Peru.
- Use a dedicated email for gaming accounts.
- Turn on 2FA and never share codes.
What we do not recommend: false details or someone else's documents. It is the fastest way to lose your balance. More rules in playing safely with crypto and the cashier comparison in USDT casinos.
