Guide · Soles to crypto

Buying USDT and Bitcoin in Peru before you play

With soles, Yape or a bank transfer you can hold USDT within minutes. These are the steps, the costs and the rules for not losing money on P2P.

Before playing at a crypto casino Peru players can join, you need crypto. The good news is that buying USDT with soles is quick today: most people do it on an exchange P2P market, paying by transfer or Yape. Here is the step-by-step guide, with costs and safety rules.

Option 1: P2P, the most used in Peru

On P2P you buy from another person, but inside the platform. The exchange locks the seller's crypto until it confirms your payment.

  1. Create your account on an exchange with soles P2P, such as Binance, Bybit or OKX, and complete its verification. Here they will ask for a DNI: exchanges always verify.
  2. Turn on 2FA with an authenticator app.
  3. Go to P2P → Buy → USDT → PEN.
  4. Filter by payment method: BCP, Interbank, BBVA or Scotiabank transfer, Yape or Plin.
  5. Pick a seller: many trades, a high completion rate and limits that fit your amount.
  6. Open the order and pay exactly the amount, from an account in your name, within the time shown.
  7. Mark “paid” only after you have paid.
  8. Wait for the release. The USDT appears in your exchange funding wallet.

Option 2: soles deposit and direct purchase

Some exchanges let you deposit soles by transfer and buy on the spot market or with “quick buy”. It is usually simpler, but availability and fees vary by platform. Compare the final price with the P2P price before deciding.

What it costs

  • On P2P the main cost is the seller's price: USDT usually trades a little above the bank dollar rate.
  • When withdrawing from the exchange you pay a network fee that depends on the network you pick. TRC-20 and BEP-20 are usually cheap; ERC-20 is expensive.
  • When going back to soles you sell on P2P and there is a price gap again.

Do the full sum: if you buy 100 USDT at S/ 3.80 and sell at S/ 3.72, you have lost S/ 8 before placing a single bet.

Sending the crypto to the casino

  1. In the casino cashier choose USDT and the network (for example TRC-20).
  2. Copy the address.
  3. On the exchange go to Withdraw → USDT, paste the address and choose the same network.
  4. Check the fee and the amount that will arrive. It must not fall below the cashier minimum.
  5. Send a test amount and wait to see it credited.
  6. Send the rest.

USDT networks are compared in USDT casinos; if you prefer Bitcoin, see Bitcoin casinos.

Safety on P2P

  • Never leave the platform chat. If the seller asks you to pay over WhatsApp or outside the order, cancel.
  • Pay from your own account. A payment from a third party's account can make the seller reject the order.
  • When selling, do not release until you see the money credited in your bank or Yape. A screenshot is not a payment.
  • Be wary of prices far below the market.
  • If something goes wrong, open an appeal inside the order.

Getting back to soles

Withdraw from the casino to your exchange address on a network it accepts, go to P2P → Sell → USDT → PEN, pick a buyer and wait for payment. Confirm the money in your account and only then release. Before a large withdrawal at the casino, go over its caps and verification in the ranking and the rules in playing safely with crypto.
